  • Q: How and when do I get my checks?

    A: Owner distributions are made via ACH on or before the 10th of every month.
  • Q: How is rent collection handled?

    A: Residents submit their rent to our company via automatic withdrawals or etransfers.
  • Q: How long of a lease do you sign?

    A: Most of our leases are 1-year leases. We reserve the right to sign month-to-month leases under special circumstances.
  • Q: How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?

    A: We charge 1 full month of rent on all security deposits.
  • Q: How soon can you start managing my property?

    A: We can typically begin management within 24-48 hours after you have completed execution of our property management agreement.
  • Q: What type of properties do you manage?

    A: Ground Floor specialises in the multi-family sector but also manages single family, commercial and Condo’s.
  • Q: What type of reports do I get and how often?

    A: Ground Floor provides all of our clients access to our online web portal that gives them 24/7 access to all of their financial reports.
  • Q: Who holds the tenant security deposit?

    A: Security deposits are held by the Rentalsman which is a division with the provincial government. More Info
